It's about time Sam Cooke got the respect

It's about time Sam Cooke got the respect he deserves. I have enjoyed his music for a long time, and I knew some details about his death. This doc really helped fill in a lot holes that I didn't know. It gives a good overview of his importance in music and the civil rights movement.

This is the 2nd documentary of Sam Cooke

This is the 2nd documentary of Sam Cooke I have seen. The other one is Lady you shot me. This is better because you follow SC life from craddle to grave, and it is not focusing only his death. Good to hear both colleaugues and friend's. It is good that the films mention his flaw (adultery and womanizing), that he is human with assets and shortcomings, It would have been fun If they had interviewed One of his children.
