cljohnston108: he also plays the hang man in 'Hang Em High' - the real one at Fort Grant, not one of the vigilantes who tries to string up Cooper (Eastwood)

kinephile: The actor playing Columbo in "Enough Rope" would later get wopped in the face by Billy Jack's foot.

thanks kinephile for that interesting tidbit. the columbo of prescription murder is a shadow of the full-formed character he would become, thanks to falk's terrific acting and character development.

you haven't written any details about the cast etc. for almost 3-4 weeks. We have to go to the imdb page to find out what the movie is and who plays it. What's the need?

technically, its the tv movie that relaunched columbo: originally it was ''enough rope'' in 1960. it was well received and turned into a stage play with starring joseph cotten. this is a remake of the 1960 film, which was much improved and 3x the length. better in every way - launched columbo as a series.

its the tv movie that launched columbo. the ending is pretty clever. peter falk is an american treasure.

perfect thanks!!!
