okay, finally there's a version with good EN subtitles available, uploaded a few days ago. Look for Parthenope.2024.1080p.WEB-DL.Italian.AAC5.1.x265-NeoNoir on piratebay. They're subtitles are muxed.

no english subs

@Swanee: Those subs are SDH (for the hard-of-hearing), with junk like [seagulls chirping] [sound of wind] etc. So normal English subs are still needed.

subdl titles are sh*thouse too

English subdl(dot)org/subtitle/99950204/parthenope/

** correction about the subs: a lot of instances of "he" or "she" are supposed to be "you"

Follow-up: This is a really beautiful film, very good acting and cinematography, although a bit of a thin story. The main problem is it's about 40 minutes too long. The available English subs are better than nothing, but for some reason the pronouns are all messed up. Where it says "him" or "her" it should be "you," or vice versa, but once you know that you can deal with it.

Still no normal, good english subtitles... Im in shock...

subs?

@andreyg subdl

Not everything from A24 is a hit, but I'll give anything they release a chance.

@vendyxiao where?

my fugg yes i've been waiting for that thank you

Still no subitles in ENG... How could that be. A24 released the movie on digital today with the ENG subs... Can someone rip them? Please... It's Sorrentino...

@andreyg the ones at my-subs look like they've been AI translated. They're not great, but they're in sync. (Still nothing at the YIFY subtitles.)

@andreyg there are now EN subtitles at my-subs dot co. I'll check them out.

Will there be any ENG subtitles?

now we are talking! tx great movie

Mostly in Italian. Italian subtitles only.
