it's a must watch. the acting is so so, but the story is very important. it sheds light on how we only see the toxic in others' relationships but not ours. it gives a direct view of narcissitic people ,and how others get buried in guilt and fear.

This film broke my heart- to see women who really seek to please their husbands and are subjected to the abuse the men heap upon them. And this is true to life- of course not all husbands treat their wives this way, yet the depiction of a preacher who twists biblical teachings to suit his needs and a cop with PTSD both of which unleashes negativity upon their wives IS VERY TRUE and is very unnerving to watch in this real life drama. I dont think theres anyone on here who cant think of a relationship where the guy takes his confusion or pain out on his girl whether family member or friend or neighbor-yes women do it to in other ways against men but this film focuses on the realities of dominant male oppression. I've seen it in my male friends against their women far too many times and i hated it then and i hate it now...STOP ABUSING YOUR WOMAN MAN!!!!!

I actually enjoyed this movie. It shines a light on 2 sides of abuse that woman or men can suffer. Think it may be a B movie though lol

Don't be taken in by the rave reviews on IMDB, I'll guarantee they're all written by family and friends of the director and the cast!
