Woman fantasy movie with no substance and an apologetic husband ending that's so fake it's ridiculous.

Being afraid of a movie because it's "woke" is some beta sht. I dunno why ya'll watch films, you clearly just want to see the pretty colors on the screen. The film is advocating for a motherhood that is balanced along the axis of the family unit, not dedicated solely toward it. It's like watching monkeys learn how to use tools down here.

People that use the word "woke" were probably born after the year 2000. ;)

The title should be "Horrible Mother". No need to smear all women. I couldn't even skip through to the end, and kept expecting her to hurt the kid.

Only 50 comments in here? Given what the movie is about, expected more. I enjoyed it! Understood it as well. Laughed a few times. Felt the pain of mothers a few times. I recommend it. The movie, that is :)

Powerful movie. It humanizes the positive and negative feelings some women go through after having a child and becoming a mother. The narrative touches on both far extremes. It also shows how balance is lost by way of lack of communication between parents.

@or1gam1: No more rough than e.g. Christian Bale in The Machinist or Vice. That's what truly dedicated actors do for a role and they deserve nothing but respect and admiration for that.

A powerful and inspirational movie even if it doesn't fully utilise its premise. Amy Adams is absolutely brilliant as usual.

Just watched the trailer and I'm definitely telling the missus I can't find this one, it looks awful, hopefully she'll forget about it. She's too busy looking after the puppies - I mean kids - to search for it herself.

There is nothing "Horror" about this film. That's like saying Teen Wolf is a horror.
