Back when moves were actually good. No woke bs. Only great cinematography, amazing acting and a thought provoking plot! Silent Hill before Silent Hill.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 4K I love this movie and what its inspired. Silent Hill has so much to owe to this and Tim Robbins is an absolute treasure. Not a perfect film by any means but a great one and I'm so glad to see it in such high quality!!!

Excellent movie - remember seeing it in a theater when it came out, really left an impression.

@guyver and @MirrorMime, you are both dolts. Go back to your parents' basement dwelling.

@guyver, you are correct : you don't understand.

Brilliant film, not for the faint of heart, owing to some disturbing imagery. 7/10.

lmao. I understand that war is not an answer, but this VIETNAM and AMERICAN war, where Vietnam won... this war was not even justified or in any way ethical, yet the USA somehow made it in the psyche of their people that How Great America is.... lol. But US sure as hell, squeeze everything impossible outta this event whether fame, glory, movie deals, or whatever. JUST NOT A WIN !!!

Great movie, Silent Hill was inspired in part by this film. There's a deleted scene or two that are especially similar.

Have saw this movie several times over the years, great movie, thanks.

one of the most overrated film similar to TheShining, i just don't understand why, such a snoozefest

4k just in time for spooky season! Many thanks yts team

This is infinitely better than the remake. No comparison.

Masterpiece

Amazing movie.

A lot of visual inspiration for the game Silent Hiill 2. There is a version around which includes the deleted scenes as well. Anyway, excellent film!
