Plot summary

Three tales of love, ambition, and neurosis unfold in the city that never sleeps. In "Life Lessons" (Martin Scorsese), a tormented painter channels heartbreak into his art. In "Life Without Zoë" (Francis Ford Coppola), a precocious 12-year-old navigates privilege and loneliness in a Manhattan hotel. Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Capturing the worst of NYC life. Uneven, and uninteresting. Didn't catch this when it came out, couldn't stick with the second story, third one was trying so hard to be funny. Maybe if I saw it in 1989 it would have seemed a little better. Somewhere along the line, Woody lost it. Saving grace, Nick Nolte and Susanna Arquette were very good in the first segment.

Woody Allen's Oedipus Wrecks- 5 stars. The Scorcese part - 3 stars. Coppola gave his kid a present but gets zero stars here.
