Plot summary

927 AD. The Killer-Blade Army has toppled the ruling dynasty, plunging the kingdom into chaos. The only remaining heir, Prince Jung-Hyun is living in exile, unaware of his family's dark fate. Still loyal to the dynasty, the beautiful and deadly warrior Soha sets out to find Jung-Hyun and guide him to become the great leader he was born to be. But with the Army's greatest assassins and the criminal underworld hunting them, Soha and Jung-Hyun are swept into an explosive, non-stop battle of swords, wits and bloodshed as they fight to reclaim the fallen throne.

I loved this period Korean swordplay drama, perhaps

I loved this period Korean swordplay drama, perhaps as I've taken such a long break from the genre. It's not a classic but it being Korean rather than Chinese gives it a slightly different atmosphere and feel from the usual films in the genre. Overall, it is pretty well shot, and the fantastic although gory nature of violence keeps the tone from being serious.

This is a modestly entertaining Korean martial arts

This is a modestly entertaining Korean martial arts film. A last surviving prince is missing and must be found to save the kingdom. We have the high wire flying scenes that we are familiar with. The story is a framework for the hand-to-hand and sword fighting scenes. These action scenes are all well done. The four lead actors (2 men, 2 women) are all uniformly attractive people. The actresses are unusually attractive women. This is always bodes well for the success of a movie. It was an OK trip to the flics.
