The Jennings Dinner (12,392 – 14 Apr 2026)

The Jennings Dinner (12,392 – 14 Apr 2026) It is Sunday dinner of the Jennings family and mother Joy has prepared her delicious banana pie. She is happy to join her family: her husband Jerry; her gay son Jim; and her daughter Jolene, who is pregnant. Out of the blue, Jerry’s brother Frank enters the house, and Jim and Jolene learn that he has blackmailed her parents and will take their house and all their savings. The family kills Frank but now they need to get rid of the body. The situation becomes complicated when their neighbor Ronda appears looking for her dog; Jim’s former partner Pete begins to cry wanting Jim back; and police Officer Truman arrives because of Pete’s noise. "Mother Father Sister Brother Frank" (2024) is a funny Canadian dark comedy by Caden Douglas. What was supposed to be a Sunday family dinner becomes a murder, and the killers have trouble to get rid of the body when visitors appear. My vote is six. Title (Brazil): "Jantar Sangrento" ("Bloody Dinner")

Very clever twist on families. Unexpected laughs and satisfying plot. Loved it. Watched by mistake. Thought I rented Father Mother Sister Brother. It was a serendipity. Relax into the silliness and fun suspense. You won't regret.
