Plot summary

The true story of Jho Low, a mysterious businessman, and playboy, as he masterminds a scheme to exploit a sovereign wealth fund in Malaysia, 1MDB. With the collaboration of Prime Minister Najib Razak, Low funnels billions into global bank accounts to fuel his extravagant lifestyle, including Hollywood parties and even financing "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Pretty annoying for two reasons: 1) it move

Pretty annoying for two reasons: 1) it move too fast for the amount of individuals, places and organisations they are rattling off. 2) Is it a book or a film? Contemporary doc makers REALLY need to lay off how much text they load onto the screen. If I wanted to read about it I'd buy the book. Couldn't finish the movie because there was no common thread to mechanism to anchor the movie, ie. it needed a narrator you could trust to tell you the story, or a common repetitive method to telling you the facts; instead, it's more like an internet search with lots of differing stories, styles, fonts and sources.

It's so well put together and informative that it could almost pass as a true crime miniseries. A well-done documentary capturing a wild, real-life story.
