Plot summary

A brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne, and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister, Jenny, must work together to help cover their mother's gambling debts. When Anne's beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion.

Sweet and funny, this is a lighthearted family

Sweet and funny, this is a lighthearted family comedy. Those of us who have annoying bf and irresponsible family members will relate. Sandra Oh and the supporting cast are great in this movie. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for something light to watch. Nice to see Will Ferrell as the good guy for once too!

It’s has everything you could want in a great comedy! Fast paced, great acting, great writing, and very sweet and touching storytelling. A must see!
