It's a movie about one of the persons that made a mark in history. It's not a propaganda movie from last year or some other things that seem to make sensitive idiots screem "woke!". People in the comments seem to just want to compete over who's most stupid. Lefties, far-right are mentioned all the time. People with no brainfunctions scream about it being so bad because it's not like that not grasping what time this is played out in. You lose hope in humanity reading comments here, but you have to realise that the screaming idiots in a group are the ones getting noticed, which is what they prob live for since they lack som recognition in real life or something. But they are the minority no matter how high they scream out their stupidity. Just ignore them.
This film is absolutely amazing. Also if you read Malcom X's book and then see the film, you can literally hear Malcom in Denzel's acting, bc he speaks just as he wrote.
Amazing Movie. One of Denzel's greatest performances. One of the few movies I needed for my 4k collection. A few I would love is Amadeus (1984), There Will Be Blood (2007), Tombstone (1980), Tron (1982), Good Will Hunting (1997), City Of God (2002), The Illusionist (2006). Thanks For Everything.
One of the most important seminal pieces of a generation. This piece of art cemented Lee as well as Washington as forces to be reckoned with. This needs to be a permanent part of every American's collection.
SOOOOOOO this movie depicts the Prophet Muhammad :\ wth even. Anyways, by the look of these comments, the person who tells malcolm that all black men are good and all white men are bad in prison was wrong and the movie shows this since at some point later in the movie malcolm finds out that Islam actually promotes equality between black and white, not one of them is better than the other by nature, only by actions/deen. I prefer to not watch this movie, but I will watch some other documentary on him probably, just not one that depicts the Prophet cuz like breh??
The acting in this movie is simply great, but... But this movie for me only promotes a reverse racism and hatred amongst people.
@bastug58 yes but later on when he goes on the pilgrimage of Hajj he realises that what he was practising wasn't true Islam but Islam promotes equality regardless of gender skin colour race etc and when he was about to tell about all of that he was assassinated.. That is the true story and that is exactly what is shown in this movie.
Guys I just registered to leave a command about this film. This film is not representing Islam. Maybe you can count it "A black man stands in a racist country who killed redskin and let slave black people". But not reflecting even a slim side of Islam. I would not of course expect from Warner Bros to tell the truth. The guy in the film says "Only solution for black race and white race is complete separation. This is Mohammed's solution" In the fact Islam has no problem with someones skin color. Islam interested in your heart and mental. If you read the life of Messenger Mohammed, you see his biggest friends are Persian, Ethiopian, Yemeni etc. We have never had any problem with someone's color. Too much annoying spot I can tell that about this film. Sure warner bros would do such this film.
