@notyournegro: Never heard of it, but it has 5.9 rating on IMDb and only 2.4 on Letterboxd (which is very gay-friendly) compared to 7.5 (IMDb) and 3.2 (Letterboxd) respectively for Love, Simon. I'm gonna check it out, but I doubt very much it's gonna be anywhere as good as Love, Simon, which is not just a "gay movie" but, more importantly, a very well-made coming-of-age comedy-drama with wide appeal.

GBF is great but this one is that good that even got a spin off TV series, they're iconic in their own ways! They're both a must watch, that's for sure :)

Definitely one of the best teen movies of the decade. I particularly enjoyed the portrayal of friendship and family dynamics. If you like this, don't miss its sequel, the TV show called "Love, Victor", which is even better.
