i saw the high score and reviews here and thought... maybe it's good. i got about half way through; nothing scary or interesting and the mother is terrible at acting. i came back to review and it's dropped more than 2 points.. so that makes sense

when the rating tanks on release, u know to avoid it.

this movie is absolutely miserable to watch. they had one ok actor, owen, and he just dies at the start
