The New York Ripper may not appeal to

The New York Ripper may not appeal to every viewer, but for those who love gritty grindhouse energy, bold direction, and the moody thrillers of early ’80s cinema, it stands tall in Fulci’s body of work. It’s daring, visually striking, and impossible to forget one of those films that stays with you long after the screen goes dark

Not a good horror film. The story doesn't

Not a good horror film. The story doesn't have a protagonist. The movie doesn't know if its supposed to be a horror, a psychological thriller, or an erotic tale about a woman who is constantly horny. It wasn't as bad as some Italian movies. I enjoyed the New York setting.

I watch more Italian films than any other

I watch more Italian films than any other kind and I watch more Fulci films than any other Italian director and this is my favorite Fulci film. I wish Americans could make something this great.
