Plot summary

A movie that brings emotions during the whole

A movie that brings emotions during the whole movie, the viewer get involved easily with the dogs

I really liked it. The movie is rather

I really liked it. The movie is rather slow but there's a sense of adventure and some amazing scenes for people who appreciate mountain man movies. Like the scene where the guy is making his way down the river in the canoe and his dog is chasing after him along the edge. It's a scene that most people would find forgettable, but the thing I found most interesting about the movie is just watching how he lives his life. I like that it feels like a documentary. I also thought his relationship with his dogs was interesting and kind of cute. He acts coldly toward a new dog until she proves herself to him. It could be seen as cruel. I just saw it as a nice, authentic touch.

Scenery and huskies are the real stars. People and dialogue add a small bit but much is unsaid and not explained. A gentle pseudo-doc of a lifestyle now past.
