Plot summary

Not until three years after the death of her husband Jolly, Kay dares to move back into their former home, persuaded by her new fiancée Rupert. But soon her worst expectations come true, when not only her old memories haunt her, but also Jolly's ghost, who doesn't approve of her new mate. Invisible to anyone but Kay, he tries to prevent the wedding.

One of my favorites, definitely a movie of

One of my favorites, definitely a movie of its time but to this day I enjoy watching it immensely…Sally Fields James Caan and Jeff Bridges really played the heck out of their roles. If you enjoy old movies as much as I do this is a must watch. They don't make movies like this anymore, no explosions, no gore, just pure storytelling. You are immediately invested in the characters as soon as they present themselves. The house they filmed in is absolutely beautiful as well. I'd love to know if it's still exists.
