Plot summary

Jack is encouraged to take the romantic Paris vacation he won, despite just being dumped by his girlfriend. His trip soon devolves into chaos and adventure, when his luggage is swapped for a French businesswoman's belongings who soon takes a liking to his belongings -- especially his shoes -- and sets out to find him.

Serendipity, french-style: driven by a lot of quirkiness and refusal to return other people's rightful belongings. I really thought she would've ended up with the Scot at the end... now That would've been serendipitous.

I don't think this film was terrible by

I don't think this film was terrible by any means, but if you take out the actors and put in less-likeable people, it's a pile of crap. But Laurent is memorizing in many of her films, and I thought Bartha did okay. The film also doesn't go on too long, it knows exactly where it belongs and doesn't overstay its welcome.
