Plot summary

The story of sharpshooter Zhang Taofang, a young army recruit who at age 22 sets a record during the Korean War by reportedly killing or wounding 214 American soldiers with 435 shots in just 32 days.

It's hard to imagine that Zhang Yimou could voluntarily make a movie this bad.

This may be one of the worst films

This may be one of the worst films I’ve ever seen. It’s Chinese revisionism and cope at getting their behinds kicked and stacked like sandbags. I thought Hollywood was bad, but this film make anything they put out look like a documentary film in Hollywood. If I could give this film 0 stars I would. This film is Chinese propaganda, which is funny. This is the last war they fought and they were defeated badly.
