Plot summary

An ancient Aztec cloth with a curse accidentally finds its way into the possession of a young woman. She decides to make a dress from the cloth. Whoever wears this cloth/dress comes under its spell; all inhibitions and moral responsibilities are lost.

My professor worked on the script and some

My professor worked on the script and some of the producing for this movie so we watched it in class. It's an interesting story but some of the actors were bad and pulled you out of the movie. The score needed work too. Overall the plot need to build more but it's a fun movie to watch when your at home bored one night.

Really bad thriller from the director of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This was a tv movie and it shows in the low budget, substandard acting and total lack of thrills and chills.

Take Sigourney Weaver from Ghostbusters... that is when

Take Sigourney Weaver from Ghostbusters... that is when she's possessed by Zuul and acts all sexy... then, add some characteristic film noir clichés, a vague psycho-killer storyline, some basic characters, a few supernatural ingredients and water it down to very low expecations. Honestly, first time I watched this, all I could think of was "I want to see Madchen Amick wear that dress more" or any other young lady in the cast... alas, it was not the case. The back cover said "donned by several different women", but there's really only three who wear the doomed dress, and a 90-minute TV movie isn't worth most of what it probably cost. Although one mention of greatness must go to Madchen Amick for making her character believable, loveable and so charming. I can say it's a nice little thriller when you're out of any options. There are far worse out there, but you should lower any expectations you have once you jump into this one.
