Plot summary

A beautiful woman hires an intrepid adventurer to help find her father, who has disappeared in the jungle while searching for a rare and priceless butterfly. Along the way they run into cannibals, a race of Amazon warriors and all the usual attractions one would expect to find in a lost jungle.

A hybrid of a fantasy action adventure and

A hybrid of a fantasy action adventure and a soft core porno, Just Jaekins Gwendoline is a particular oddity that is generally devoid of the scuminess typical of the niche. Technically a bad film in almost every perceivable way, the campy charm and dialogue of the protagonist can be delightful. The oddity of it all can be a charming endeavor granted the amateurish execution.

A strange but highly entertaining first act propels Gwendoline through an ocean of ideas, but halfway through things start to get perplexing. By the time we get to the end the story has drowned in the mishmash of random events and characters without clear motivations. No amount of half-naked ladies can make up for an ending this confused.
