Benji is back for his second big screen

Benji is back for his second big screen adventure Here he's traveling with his new adoptive family in Athens, Greece Along the way he runs into con men and a secret agent plants something on him they want Benji then gets lost in this foreign land and must evade the bad guys while doing so The little canine just wants to be back with the housekeeper and the little kids that love him There's definitely some twists to be had in this one Even Benji couldn't have guessed how far this conspiracy goes The final act is one giant chase scene which has enough suspense to keep viewers engaged The kids sadly have little screen presence this time around and Greece is kinda portrayed as inconsiderate with its locals not being welcoming to Benji But the dog still endears the fans and viewers with his quick wit and inability to give up The weakest in the series in my opinion but still watchable

Story/Screenplay: (3/5) Like the original Benji (1974), this

Story/Screenplay: (3/5) Like the original Benji (1974), this story is probably targeted for children, but I suspect it is way too sparse and slow moving to maintain the interest of a younger audience. Duration/Tempo: (3.5/5) At 1 hour and 25 minutes, it's a very short movie that felt like an average length movie. Too many drawn out scenes. Cast & Crew: (3/5) Human cast was better than in the original, but still meh. Dogs were good. Summary: (3/5) This film comes down to old-school dog tricks. No CGI here. While this is fun to watch, there's just not enough here for an 85 minute movie.

Hug your puppy tightly and grab some hankies!!

This is the ultimate family movie!! Benji, Super Dog extraordinaire, makes a howling appearance in this Ameri/Greek movie. The family goes to vacation with their two dogs in Greece. Along the way, Benji gets implanted with a secret code by the evil Chandler Dietrich. Chandler befriends the family knowing that, without their trust and friendship, he won't be able to smuggle Benji away from them at the right time. What Chandler doesn't plan on is Benji getting lost en-route to Crete!!Anyway, the film goes on sharing the antics of this tiny little dog-without-a-breed and casts him as a hero. To find out what happens to Benji and his adorable family, you'll just have to watch!Benji movies are so much fun for children. If you have a pet in the family, whether a dog, cat, bird or hamster, your children are guaranteed to appreciate them more after seeing this film. There is no nudity, no hard-core language (in fact no swearing at all that I can remember), no violence, and no yucky stuff. It is a class A children's movie. Enjoy it with some popcorn and with Fido sitting close at hand!!
