this movie deserves more than 6.9 , great one

who still wants to watch after the end of the world movies with one person trying to survive. I do not watch these types of movies anymore, coz I do not care about what happens after the world ends.

Nice movie, but over rated.

I shut it off after 15 minutes, the robot sounded like a 5 yr old and it was just really BORING!

Tom Hanks have made made some bad movies lately. Great visual effects and sound but movie its totally waist of time.

what an excellent film. It shows that Tom Hanks is one of the greatest actors of our time, being able to carry a film single handed yet keep it interesting. 8/10

i cant believe the q mongs. look at his son, he is obviously a fantastic father and role model.

Great movie. Tom Hanks is a master and for me the movie portrayed his ability , once again to play roles focusing on the main actor more that 80% of the time. Kinda like the movie where he was stranded at an airport and the one leaving him talking to a soccer ball.

Tom Hanks is solid in this movie blend of castaway and silent running. circa 1972 for those too young to relate.

An ending that many would have enjoyed. Tom Hanks recovers once they cross the Golden Gate Bridge where everything is green and people have recovered from the disaster that almost wiped out civilization. Tom Hanks enjoys life again with other humans, even a nice female. The same with the dog. He finds and meets a cute Cocker Spaniel. Finch will create a mate for himself

It may seem far fetched but what if A I machines like Finch were the only life left on earth. They could reproduce more of them. No need for food, water, or oxygen. This is what could happen if all life as we know it were destroyed by a pandemic or nuclear war. No animals fish or plants or trees. Maybe not even oceans, lakes or rivers. Just a barren land with only AI reproducing.

The beginning was interesting and then it was funny leading into sad. The ending left me empty feeling like you needed another 30 minutes because it leaves you wanting to know more. Not one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies but it could have been.
