There isn't one single word that could define this movie, because it's a bit all over the place. It's comedic, but probably not intended to be. It's captivating in that it displays a certain beauty of the 60s. As to what was actually intended, it's hardly a horror movie.. It might have been a horror movie back then but now is outdated to have that effect. There isn't anything actually frightening except if you despise cats or fear them. The cats are inserted in a great manner into the movie, very natural and seamlessly for the most part. The depiction of her emphysema is not very accurate. The script is fine, except for its end which is not much of an end. Perhaps there was a hope for a sequel. All in all, it did pass the time, and it's rather pleasant.

I didn't sit through the whole movie. Just didn't find it very engaging. The acting wasn't the worst I've seen but the script wasn't too great.
