Plot summary

In small-town British Columbia, Canada, awkward teen Mike Drinkwater has trouble fitting in and is bullied by his antagonist and rival: wealthy school jock, Luke Ryan. While Mike's offbeat father, Hank, spends more time defrauding the government than being a role model; Hank is dealing with his own longstanding condemnation by Luke's father Wesley Ryan, which seems to fuel Luke's hostility towards Mike. Enter Wallace, a young girl from the United States who is adjusting to life in a new place while recovering from her own personal tragedy. Wallace's strength of character helps transform her life and the lives of the people around her.

One of the best feel good films I've

One of the best feel good films I've seen in a good while. Alot of similarity to Pretty In Pink script. Feel like the writer took that movie and shuffled it up a little. Good stuff!

This movie was much better than I expected

This movie was much better than I expected and is absolutely worth a watch. Actually pretty heartfelt movie with some great comedic elements. The Dad was cast to perfection and had me cracking up several times I wish they actually had more screen time of his hilarious antics. With all the crap HOLLYWEIRD has been putting out as of late this was a breath of fresh air we need hollyweird to start making feel-good light hearted comedies again the world needs it.
