If you dance with certain demons make sure to keep your eyes closed. And if all else fails remember this… it’s all in the reflexes!! And this dark story here is as limber as it gets. Some demons can really cut a rug?

Traumatized by occult trauma in her childhood, a spiritual medium (Fiona Dourif) leads her paranormal film crew to Malaysia to investigate their traditions and address promising claims of hauntings. About 30 minutes in this film becomes virtually unceasing in haunted effects. Sadly the script struggles to surround this activity with the pacing and depth required to make it a top tier film for me. It does little new but does it well oftentimes. I had many questions such as why are they not filming more often? Seriously, events start occurring and the two camera men run around dumfounded with everyone else but no cameras! And there was no point in including the Malaysian girl making a pass at the medium's husband. Meaningless! Not as immersive as I prefer but an anchored performance by Dourif and the scares raise it a bit.

Not a bad premise, but fell short. Felt cheap and never did anything unique. The ending made no sense whatsoever.
