Plot summary

Absolutely awful. The lead actress is too old

Absolutely awful. The lead actress is too old to be playing a recent college graduate. Hopefully, she has a Plan B because she can’t act. The story itself is dull. No tension and no interest in any of the characters.

I was pleasantly surprised by Dead Girl Summer

I was pleasantly surprised by Dead Girl Summer. It’s a lot more atmospheric and tense than your typical weekend thriller. The standout for me was definitely Sydney Hamm. She gives such a layered and believable performance that really elevates the whole movie. She made the stakes feel real rather than just following the tropes. Definitely worth a watch if you want something engaging and well-acted!
