English version please

One of my favorite War Movies, Thank you so much YIFY. Please add - Das Boot (1985).

As Boris_CRO pointed out. A great movie that should be watch in it's language. Subs aren't that hard. "The Messenger" (2019) from Poland was an other great movie of this time. "Battle of Midway"(1976) goes on the list after "Tora Tora Tora"(1970). Both great movies that show the big mistakes made by both sides. End it with "Spitfire"2018. Great documentary not just about the plane but those who flew them. An other GREAT documentary is the TV series "The Vietnam War"(2017) It takes you from the very beginning of how it all started with the French occupation, who and how Americans got into and how it all end. Views and thought s from both sides. The greatest take from this show came from an ex north Vietnamese solider dressed in his crush velvet suit with blond hair, "The only ones who debate about war or who want or call out for war are those fools that never been through or seen war. War has no winners. Only pain, suffering and regret. Pain and suffering for those that you called friends or comrade that died in front of you. Regret for their family's that will never see them again. Regret for those lying dead that you called "Enemy". For that they have family's as well that will go through the same suffering. There are no winners of war. Only for those who have never seen it"

FYI, this movie is not 2h29m long, it’s the 3h28m Director’s Cut

This movie should be seen in german language. Titles are not that hard to use. I dont know for you but in my country 99% of movies are foreign and they are always subtitled. And yes this movie is very good. Its just people of today are used to not realistic "pc games" war movies where action is rambo style. You should all watch movies like "Tora Tora Tora" or "A bridge too far" or "The longest day" or "The battle of Britain".

The best submarine (war) films ever made.A complete story (also a true story) ,about a Kriegsmarine crew in a U boat Claustrophobic,dirty,tension,the unexpected,death,courage,perseverance......Please watch the German version (with sub titles if you don't understand them )and watch the Directors cut 03:28 Hour. It seem long but worth your wile .I just Finished a audio book from Stephen king that was 18:45 long compare to this that was boring .Have fun watching and remember you are of on the lucky few that seen it ;-)

I have downloade both the 1080 and 720 versions and cannot make ANY english subtitles work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried downloading twice and only have German version. Where or how are you getting the English version?

This movie is too overated.Red October,Crimson tide and U571 are much better submovies
