You can tell who the young guns are that never grew up with this style of science fiction and cinematography. They rate bomb a classic such as Cube of which one has to remember, "what competed with it in its time?" Like, are people today saying Titanic sucks and you should instead watch La La Land because it is more uppity? Throw your inhibitions aside and approach these things respectfully. For a 1990s era film, it's solid practical effects and special effects. Yeah, it kinda boring with the lack of atmospheric tension from the soundtrack. But it is all for the sake of being suspenseful. One cube led to something unfavorable, what other kinds of cubes will the gang encounter? The ending is the best part because you see just how absurd the entire thing is and leaves you imagining the possibility of even being in one of these contraptions yourself.

great movie. Avoid the sequels.

Nice premise and cool characters. It offers a very good air of mystery that will keep you asking questions and wanting to watch the other parts.

The 7.2 is definitely an over rating. I would pit it at a mid 5 to 6.0 Barely worth the watch, not a keeper. It's a little intriguing one of those where people are trapped in a box looking for a way to get out past all the different death traps. The ending is unsatisfying.

This was such a waste of time I resent the film makers. It was slow as sh-t rolling uphill and the only reason I stuck it out was to see how it ended, except the ending was stupider than the film was slow 1/10
