Bad movie. But for what it is, not bad. There are a number of fallacies with this of which are quite irritating to even think about. For one, the acid blood of wounded xenomorphs do not do what they are supposed to do, lore-wise. There are too many corners cut and the film quickly becomes something undesirable. At the very least, they state in the credits it is a fan production for nonprofit purposes. At least they are honest about the short-commings.

With all the hype that preceded this movie's release in theaters, the talk show interviews, and even the fact that Karl Urban is so famous in works appeared, this movie is a total let down. There is so much evidence of wire-suspension usage for a lot of the stunts and of course the sever lack of competent fighting technique. Many of the shot scenes were more just bar-style brawls. It became a Street Fighter wannabe. The 1997 version continues to remain superior.

For a B-Rated movie, not that bad. 10/10 would recommend at least watching it through just once.

How the heck did this fly under the radar? It has Athena Massey! A iconic 80s star! her career suffered from being "pigeon holed" as a typecast character which restricted the kind of role considerations she could possibly get. But she's still a hottie and hardly appears in much anymore.
