Funny thing, this film has reportedly been removed from streaming and barely has a dvd presence anymore. There's almost no way to watch it legally. Rumor has it that it is too close to our current situation with A.I. or maybe even where we actually are.

Great movie, well worth watching for a bit of nostalgic escapism. Amazing, though, how some people feel the need to tout their political bent [Brent Burkwell] instead of just giving an intelligent review of the movie. Sheesh, MAGAts!

Why don't they just turn the computer off?

This movie is really good. saw it a few years ago. It's kinda like Kubrick's 2001 but set in the cold war era.

Wow! This takes me back! This is a very cool movie - ages before Terminator and all the dystopian sinister computer movies. Eric Breaden is so smooth in this... but then he went on to be the King of Smoothness and Sinister plots in the Young and Restless soap... I think up to today... My wife watched that for YEARS... (God I hated soaking it up as background noise... lol!) Seriously, though... the actor is top flight, the script HAD to be (they had no effects in 1970 to fall back on). You should see this one.

They'd show this on Channel 7 as the Afternoon Movie, with the image chopped to fit the old 1.33:1 screens, but I never watched more than a few minutes of it. So glad I finally get to see it from start to finish in the proper widescreen format! Thanks again, Yify!
