Out of the 1 hr 24 min of length of the movie, the first 18 min 20 seconds (yes, I timed it) are PURE USELESS G*ARBAGE. POS nasty filler, nothing else, nothing more. We all want to see the monster. Shaky camera c*rap, and as another commenter correctly mentioned, a huge amount of the dialogues is "ohmygod" and "lookatthat". This cheap c*rap could have been done much, much better, it was the beginning of the cheapening quality of movies. They ruined the potential on creating some lasting, proper horror legacy.
