Movie with no reason to be. Some are defending the film's bad writing and pacing by saying that even if it's not entertaining, it's worthwhile because it addresses an important topic. The problem is that it doesn't even do that. The story centers on a case where an abortion would be needed to save the mother's life, and there's no debate about that. Even if you're not trying to address a current controversy, and you're just making a movie about the past, it's still not accurate as history. If someone wants to excuse moviemaking where the film isn't enjoyable then you can't just set up a straw man to knock down and pretend you're winning an argument. There's nothing relevant about a movie that avoids the question of a right to abortion based on social, economic, or cultural motives but instead just focuses on abortion that may be medically necessary to save a pregnant woman's life. It's the equivalent of making a dull film that is supposed to be topical because it deals with the controversy over gun rights and gun control but then writing a story where the plot is about police officers who want to be able to use guns in their role as law enforcement. That is not and never has been what the argument was about.

what a not interesting movie

It was very sow paced and didn't completely kept me engaged. The acting was brilliant and the idea not bad, but it is definitely not for everyone.
