Plot summary
A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photojournalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.

I like this movie. BUT I love C.H.U.D 2 Bud The Chud
Interesting plot, pretty decent performances, a cool 80's monster movie in general. A cop determined to find out what's going on behind several strange disappearances when the case touches him closely. Corruption, indigence, and monsters. I gotta say I was quite disappointed with the creatures design, they looked to me like martians or some kind of outer space humanoid thing rather than underground dwellers.
thought this was ninja turtle lol
Thanks Freeman! Now we just need C.H.U.D. II: Bud the Chud.
this is the director's cut edition
