@munty01: You don't get it. The english versions of classic Toho films are special in and of themselves. You might not enjoy them but many Gaikaiju aficionados prefer those for what they are and not because of snobbish purist values held by people who generally don't watch foreign films in the first place.

This sounds like a HORRIBLE B-Movie Sci-Fi exploitation film. I WILL ENJOY IT!!!

@shawnslaught Haven't been paying attention have you? Fox News is being run by a man who is making it just like the rest of the big news corporations. They're towing the party line hard now.

Wait, Rey has friends? I thought she had a group of mostly useless minions she dragged through three films as comic relief?

Dark Crystal, The Labyrinth, and now finally Mirrormask! The Henson Fantasty Trilogy is FINALLY complete here!

@Sheboink Their metabolisms and developments are ramped up by the "energy field" of the planet they're on. It causes them to mature physically and emotionally in just eight days and childbirth takes only a single day. Because of this energy the people have an ancestral memory that speeds up learning considerably. It's all explained in the film (or the short story this was based on) if you bother to watch it.
