Bring It On: Cheer or Die is a

Bring It On: Cheer or Die is a messy and misguided attempt to blend the Bring It On franchise with slasher horror. While it clearly aims for campy, corny fun, it never commits fully enough to work as either a spoof or a serious horror film. The tone constantly shifts, leaving the audience unsure whether to laugh or take anything seriously. The screenplay is full of issues, with characters dying abruptly and without clear logic. Some characters exist only to be killed, offering no development or narrative purpose. The direction fails to track character arcs or maintain consistency, making the story confusing and disjointed. The biggest misfire is the central gimmick—surviving by performing cheerleading moves—which is so absurd it destroys any remaining tension. Ultimately, the film is neither scary nor clever, making it an easy skip.
