The plot i'll give 5/10 but The minute 1hr 22 min, the fight Edris Alba vs the Lion, OMG!, that was just super amazing, I just felt it in my heart. Two things here, first an amazing use of the visual effects during the fight, it really looked as a natural fight and second, a father doing whatever it takes to protect his girls. Great, Great ending fight !

This is ok movie to watch, dont know whats the problem people find to bitch about!? And the real hero is the lion! For once, man takes back seat and suffers revenge of the wild!

@larry82285 - What you don't understand is that race is always an issue for any black person. This is not the case for most white people. It is a part of our history, and it is always an issue. Look at a black movie like, Red Tails or The Tuskegee Airmen, then look at a movie like TOP Gun. Race is not an issue for white people as seen in Top Gun. But, in a real life movie like Red Tails or The Tuskegee Airmen, it is an issue.We didn't create the issue, but we would be fools to try to ignore it. It is a part of our struggle, a part that harms us.You don't learn by ignoring what is always in front of you. You learn by acknowledging it and overcoming it.

Average stupid fun movie. There have been lots of great movies featuring a black lead or mostly black cast over the years and this is just not one of them. Why must race issue get brought up when a not so good movie with blacks involved especially gets mostly critically panned? Just the take the criticism or approval from others with a grain of salt and move on. All that matters is you yourself liked or didn't like the movie and don't need to rely too much on what others say.
