Interesting point, it seems only the humans are surprised that there is life on other planets. The premise that Aliens are here for water is a little over worked, but none of the aliens suffer the "shock" of seeing humans, or killing them for that matter. I have seen almost every alien show out there, and in every case, the humans are all trying to get over the idea that the aliens exist. In our galaxy, there are 250-400 billion stars. (thousand million). On our planet, you can't kick over a rick without finding life of some kind. So why would it be surprising to find other life exists? I can only imagine the melt downs that would happen if/when we actually get invaded. We will be lucky if the governments of the day let us throw rocks, as most countries will have the population disarmed. The entirety of the Canadian Armed forces is about 67,000. So the population of 2 small towns. Good luck with that for a defense.

Always liked this movie as a decent original alien invasion flic with great cgi but the 4k version adds a whole new dimension. Really brings out the detail. Thanks Freeman.

Very nice film . I realy like it . But in the 4K version still exist the "cinavia" program

I now know why I didnt watch this when it first came out. Got through 10 min with shocking shaky camera work, I get their trying to give you a realistic first person dramatic view but dam give it a break put the camera on a tripod, sometimes they do this to cover up poorly made production flaws, so this time watching it I thought Id give it a good go it got better towards the middle and end where more wider shots where used when showing the aliens and cg paintings of la. overall its a good alien war story a somewhat inferior fix over Independence day that satisfies.
