A critica detonou mas quem gosta do gênero aventura+ficção+ação até hoje assiste e que se danem os criticos eles entendem de fazer criticas favoráveis apenas se o "pix" cair.Este é e ainda será por muito tempo um ótimo filme para quem quer se divertir, sair da rotina pois se quisessemos horror, terror, medo assistiamos os noticiáriso brasileiros. Nota 10 ao site por disponibilizar este.

The only problem with this movie was the marketing! Calling it "John Carter" was a mistake, even with the cute reveal at the end that he was now "John Carter...of Mars". Plus, ER had just ended its TV run and one of the main characters was...John Carter. The 2nd movie was set up by the ending! Sad.

the mistake they made in making this movie was NOT following the original story. they used parts of the three original books and changed the story so much it made much less sense. instead of trusting the original story they added way too much strictly so they could use the CGI effects. maybe one day we will get a good adaptation.

they should have made a sequel!

It's a pure pearl. One of my favourites I like to go back to. I wish there was part 2. Amazing world. Greatly underrated masterpiece.

I read this book in my early teens & I was hoping the movie would live up to my expectations, I was not disappointed, great special effects, actors were very good. If you are a lover of movies, voyeurism, sci fi & entertainment I recommend you watch it. In my top 10 films. Excellent.
