Plot summary

An alien virus that once wiped civilizations out in ancient times through out time has returned overnight by a mysterious thunderstorm infecting all the bats in the area causing them grow into grotesque giant carnivore man-eater monster bats and it's up to humankind to fight for their lives to survive or history will once again repeat it's self as it has thousands of years ago.

This movie is confusing, in that the synopsis

This movie is confusing, in that the synopsis and poster have nothing to do with the actual movie. Considering that this movie is so freakin' bad, I would rather see the version with the alien virus as described in the synopsis. Also, do not watch this steaming pile of poop if you hate people falling down for no reason—I think every character does that at some point or the other, and they just stay on the ground and stop moving. And the movie stretches every scene to pad out the runtime, yet it only clocks in at 80 something minutes. So in other words, the key scenes barely add up to 20 minutes. We did have a good laugh at it, but I think most viewers will be bored out of their mind by the incompetence in every department.

Something odd about this one.

I agree with the other reviews about the shortcomings of this tepid little outing. But I had to add that ALL of these actors appear to be British and are speaking with an American accent that they cannot account for. The location is clearly a older country house in the U. K. Was this done under the misguided idea that it would make the film have wider appeal?
