The Alien claims humans are inefficient, yet gets defeated by a med bot. Pretty lame plot. Fell asleep the first time I tried to watch it. All the males are slow, stupid, and weak. Eiza González does a decent job acting, but really she's the cause of the whole ordeal. I swear in movies such as this, they always send IDIOTS into Space. How are you going to take a lifeform sample that's infested your capsule camp, literally inside the walls, the computers, everything, and think a petri dish will contain it.

It's alright, maybe steals a little too much from alien. Like the robot operation that removes the parasite. I remember that from one of the more recent Alien films. But it is alright, not spectacular like Alien.

I actually liked it. Not the best horror flick of all time but still ok.

I've seen good sci-fi over 5 imdb score, but I won't watch one under 5, I am sorry. I rather watch AI made annunaki movies on youtube.

I can't believe how bad this was. With Aaron Paul at the peak of his mediocrity as if he still didn't learn how to be an actor since Breaking Bad and the other actors having a bad time trying to convince themselves. Not even a Mindbender as the poster says, just predictable as we've seen that in ten other movies. Don't waste your time.

Really great sudden trippy images of horror, maybe the best Ive seen since Event Horizon and as visceral as Cube. No much of a plot but lots of style and a great soundscape.

@MiguelTheBased What do you consider actual entertainment? Let me guess, a man loses a family member/war buddy/best friend etc and has to go rescue him. A man trying to keep his family together has to drive as fast as possible to achieve that. A man trying to save the world while keeping his family safe. A man struggles with toxic masculinity. A man wants to keep the patriarchy alive against overwhelming odds. Get over yourself.

This debate that if woman can pull of being a Action Hero is really getting old, this is fictional characters. Most of the male action stars wont last a day in a real war scenario either. Being buffed in a gym don't make you strong or military ready. Sigourney Weaver have been the best in this type of roll but I have enjoyed other Woman action stars as well. If you want reality rather stick to true life dramas.

Excellent from start to finish, carrying a distinctive visual aesthetic, electronic soundtrack, and ambience. The actress, González, is a delight to watch, and she delivers a respectable performance, though one wonders how her tresses never fail to fall stylishly over her face. The story was well structured, unveiling the mystery in a staggered fashion, and the editing kept the film brisk and concise. All in all, solid mystery sci-fi in space that inherits from classic films but executes its material freshly and intelligently. Graphic violence and strong language. 7/10.
