It would be nice to know what the source is. I kind of got the feeling that this was simply an up-scaled and heavily cropped version (The latter for sure!!!) Cropping I get enough of from FB where they crop from 16:9 to 4:3, back to 16:9 a few times until a small squared box is left at the center with a low-res picture. In this case it was a slight diff between the DSR version from REGRET and this as it actually had better colors and was brighter. Regardless, one should never crop a movie. It's like diluting booze. Works as long as it isn't too much
Cheaply made film. Only good to watch of you wanna see half-naked men fight stuntmen in prosthetic costumes, or if you're putting together furniture and just need something to play on the screen/tv.
is this what the studio released as a bluray? the left side is cropped so much the opening title get cropped.
I'd never heard of this movie. Yet the poster looked so familiar, but I couldn't place it. The poster is almost an exact knockoff of the Enemy Mine (1985) poster. It's been reversed.
Thank you so much! I loved this movie! Watched it when it was realesed way back in '89 and was blown away by it. Even if it is cheesy. It's still a fun movie to watch many times after it. Thank you again YTS.MX for adding it to your awesome database!

Looks like all the HD rips were taken from the BluRay Widescreen (2K restoration) version of "Arrow Video’s Enter The Video Store: Empire of Screams Boxset" (2023) ... the cropping at the begining (and possibly in some parts) is pretty severe but compared to my DVDRips the rest of the movie seems to stay corrected ... the 'editing & zooming' is explained on the BR disc ... the reason for the cropping was due to some damage to the 35mm film, so they had to zoom in on parts to fill the screen ... also the opening title was was an error in the intial film printing ... there's not too much missing to be honest ... but the bonus with this BluRay WS (Theatrical Print) version is, there's a lot more video detail/information (screen estate - left and right) ... albeit they cropped for widescreen (as they do with most Full Screen movies) ... it's not that bad to be fair ... Arrow said they done their best with what they had ...
