Plot summary

A loving wife and her husband move away to a remote cabin to heal from the devastating loss of their stillborn twins. Soon she senses an evil presence and is pushed to the edge when dark secrets begin to unravel.

Terrible writing. Over used the word, hon. Acting

Terrible writing. Over used the word, hon. Acting was subpar. It was a good story of it had just been written better. Imo.

I have watched a lot of these type

I have watched a lot of these type of movies, few have been as bad as this. The characters and their motivations are all over the place, I’m still not sure if the ghost was supposed to be a good guy or not. The acting is awful, particularly the husband who looks permanently baffled though the whole movie. The lead actress looks less realistic than the ghost, and I can only speculate on why she was cast. The sound design is atrocious as well. Watch ironically only

Movie left a lot of unanswered questions. Since the doctor and the husband turn out to be brother and sister, why did the doctor and husband/brother keep touching each other so much, even kissing on the lips, leaving the cabin together and spending all day partying it up? Is the cabin in the hills of West Virginia? After spending the day flirting with the husband/brother like a drunk girl with two minutes before last call at a bar, the doctor whispers to him "I need need you in my life". The wife overhears this. The director clearly put it out there they were romantic, and then just changes it all of a sudden. It's so clear that the wife suspects they are fooling around quickly, but she still lets him and her leave a second time together to spend the day with each other? My wife would have run behind the car following it like a dog for twenty miles on two legs if she suspected me of doing that. But all the husband had to say was "you stay here and gets some rest". The first time they leave together doctor says we are going to get some fresh baked bread in the morning. Did they return an hour later with the much anticipated hot fresh bread? No. They come home late that night, with no bread of course as it would be stale by then. Does this anger the wife? No. She is soo cool she lets it slide and is ok with them leaving again together the next day. She forgets the fact that she found sexy lingerie in the doctors suitcase, and that the doctor put her and her husband's wedding photo face down on the mantle. She finally asks the doctor, who is also her best friend, why see has not spent any time with her on the visit at all, just with her husband. The doctor responds that the wife should just get some rest. If true, why did the doctor drive all that way to visit with her, she could have just gotten the rest without her friends visit. Lastly, why did the doctor kill her brothers two unborn kids? To break the ring of her father's bloodline. But her brother is a great guy, and the kids are his offspring, so why kill his kids? Makes sense to kill any of her fathers offspring if he had any other kids, but kill his grandkids? And the father's offspring are the doctor and her brother, so wouldn't it make sense to kill themselves instead since they are the direct father's bloodline?
