A Year in Port" does a superb job

"A Year in Port" does a superb job of distilling into just a few minutes the centuries of history, science, and art that make Port such an exceptional pleasure on the palette. Master winemaker Dirk Niepoort's craftsmanship, hard work, and passion are palpable as he shares with the audience his lifetime of joy, challenges, and discoveries. Tip: purchase a superior bottle of vinho do porto and enjoy it as Dirk and Martine Saunier guide you through the vineyards of the Douro Valley and Vila Nova de Gaia's cellars. Parabéns!

Movie about British posh - NOT wine

This was horrible to watch. The move is about old British snobs, playing games, walking in their fancy clothes and promoting their wines. I have been to Portugal at least 8 times and visited the Port houses in Oporto. There you get a beautiful story about how Port is made, what to pair it with and most importantly what it is - something that was NOT mentioned here. If you are interested in Port wine then please do yourself the benefit of skipping this heresy and look for insightful information elsewhere.
