My family is all mixed and we have never focused on it. I guess being from the Southern part of the US, you have more to be concerned with like finding how to connect with people and being good humans who contribute to the world at large.

Why does everything boil down to a minor difference in skin color or facial features to these racist basement dwellers? Some of the smartest, funniest, kindest people I've known are mixed-race, and it boggles the mind that "purebloods" can be so ignorant and stupid to think that trivial differences in a few genes that determine cosmetic features, out 25,000 in the human genome, make any substantive difference in who a person is.
