I honestly couldn't make it past 10 minutes, the acting is not very good, and the storyline is not compelling.... I've seen a lot of bad movies, very few I am unable to watch in full!

The English subtitles are so bad for this, and I couldn't find any other version. Luckily I am learning Japanese and could understand some - the subtitles had genders all wrong and brother/sister confused, it was so offputting. The movie was pretty good - I wouldn't consider it "Horror", more like Thriller/Mystery.

Thank you so much for uploading this! I have been looking for The Pirate for quite a few years!

I could not finish watching this; it's quite slow. It must be very low budget, the sets are too empty and therefore very unrealistic. The acting is questionable... It really just frustrated me. Anyway, I deleted it.

There is a scene spoken in French, and the English subtitles don't translate... feel like I'm missing some of the story...
