Yubby

This is a somewhat explicit rom-com, but I don't get why the male character is such a man-baby.

It's less comedic than the trailer suggests which I think is good. There's a lot of insights into the English class system.

The French guy, David Bellamere, comes across as an unprofessional perv to me. There's a lot of flirting, touching, hugging and even kissing. We see him dining with his favorite girl and playfully hand feeding her. Later we learn that he was engaging in s*xual relationships with some of these girls which, after #metoo happened and the accusations started flying, he claimed were consensual. Right, just like they were with Harvey Weinstein.

The first 20 minutes are really funny, well written and well acted. Then it totally changes and is as boring as hell.

Worth a watch. The trailer doesn't show much.

It's just okay. The girl is good but I think the guy is miscast.
