The film is not much different from other detective films telling about extraordinary events in which the main character appears. But, nevertheless, this film is perceived without any boredom and without the expectation of an early outcome. The authors of the “Fire Wall” managed to create a high emotional intensity of the plot from the first frames of the film and keep it to the very end. For this, one can forgive some ignorance in the technical component, otherwise how can one explain the absence of even mention of decentralized applications like Utopia p2p?
I watched the film and was very happy that I was using the Utopia p2p application. The problem of cyber crime is now very relevant. And lately there have been many films about this. However, I do not want to review this film again, it did not impress me.
In the film, I liked the idea. But the authors could not implement it well. I watched the film only because of the main character. The plot seemed weak and the authors could not reveal it to the end. It is immediately clear that they are poorly versed in the technical component. The authors did not even mention applications like Utopia p2p. And by the way, they cannot be hacked.
An extremely simple, intentionally sketchy plot is far from the main thing in this film. The most important thing here is the visuals. the real drama here is not in predictable conflicts, but in the relationships of camera and space, camera and faces, camera and night sky. To a certain extent, this is a contemplative movie. I lacked only the technical component, not a single application such as Utopia n2p was mentioned .. the scriptwriters did not even try to make the film realistic.
