Didn't know this movie was released on Blu-ray. I owned the DVD when it came out.

Went to high school with both Elden Henson and his brother Eric. At the time, I knew them both by their last name Ratliff. Cool guys.

Here's what all of you slamming this movie. For starters, it's not canon. It's the first in a trilogy (hopefully...) of anthology movies that actually what happens outside the Skywalker family drama. Remember, what's considered canon is really just that. Nothing more than the drama surrounding that family. While it's true, I'm a die hard fanatic of this entire universe's story...canon, expanded or otherwise. However, in its simplest form...it's nothing more than watching a family go thru some messed up things while overcoming certain adversities and strifes.

Great movie, great music. Funniest line in the movie is "you know, you make a very funny face when you cum". The music is awesome too.

borixan, do you really need to see those Soul Glo commercials that clearly? 720 is actually broadcast quality. Chill out.

damnzilla, you're thinking of Laserdisc. DVD wasn't even a thought in any portion of the 80's. I believe initially aside from the obvious theatrical it only saw a VHS release. Laserdisc, to be honest, didn't really take off the way people thought it would.
