Can confirm it is the right movie. The sides have been cropped though. So much so that you can't see the "A" or the final "2" in "All rights reserved 2002" at the end of the credits.
Mao was the great leader that set China on its course to become the superpower that it is today. Of course western propaganda hates on him.
The 720p version didn't freeze for me. It played with no problems until the very end. 2h32m.
